We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support a Health and Wellness practice. This role focuses on insurance benefits verification, referrals, authorizations, follow-ups, and patient communication, while maintaining professionalism on phone calls. Strong English communication skills are essential.

•    Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
•  Process and follow up on referrals and prior authorizations
•  Conduct follow-ups with insurance companies regarding benefits, referrals, and authorization status
•  Answer phones at the same time, make phone calls
•  Provide clear and professional communication with patients and insurance representatives
•  Document and update verification details accurately in the system
•  Coordinate with the internal team regarding insurance findings

•    Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
•  Experience with benefits verification, referrals, and authorizations
•  Physical Therapy or healthcare background is a strong advantage
•  Comfortable handling phone calls with patients and insurance providers
•  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•  Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
