Verification of Benefits (Medical VA)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Virtual Assistant with strong skills in Verification of Benefits (VOB) and Eligibility checks. If you have excellent communication skills, mastery of insurance portals, and can work efficiently in a healthcare support role, we’d love to connect with you. 

• Perform Verification of Benefits (VOB) and eligibility checks for patients.
• Utilize Availity and other insurance portals to confirm coverage and benefit details.
• Process and monitor prior authorizations accurately.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
• Document findings and updates in EMR systems.

• At least 1 year of Medical VA experience
• Strong Availity knowledge (A MUST)
• Solid experience with eligibility verification, VOB, and prior authorizations
• Familiarity with multiple insurance portals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
